Will I get a higher sentence if I challenge the evidence and fail?

1. Everyone who is charged with an offence is entitled to challenge the evidence and you will not be punished for this.
2. In Scotland sentences are discounted to reflect an early plea therefore we always do all we can to preserve the full discount that may be available by dealing with the case promptly and advising the court of our intentions prior to attending the court hearing.
